MuttleyCrue is always looking for volunteers to help out with any of the following
  • Transporting dogs to and from vet appointments, meet & greets, etc.
  • Helping out at fundraisers/ adoption events
  • Handling dogs at events
  • Foster dogs who are waiting for their forever home   (It's FREE to do this!!)

 We are always in need of doggie supplies such as: 
  • New or gently used crates (all sizes)
  • Collars & Leashes
  • Kongs, chew toys and other toys
  • New or gently used dog beds                
  • Dog & Puppy food

FOSTER

"I would want to keep them all" is what I thought, until I realized that for some, my willingness to foster literally meant life or death. Then I thought: "Well, it will be hard but, I would prefer they not have to die." So, we fostered. And it was frustrating. And confusing, at times. But I was not alone- I had support from Muttley Crue. Training, food, treats, cages, leashes, a ear to vent to or a shoulder to cry on. They were there for me through hard times as they were there to laugh with me at my silly foster puppy pictures or snuggle the lovable pups that seemed oh, so thankful to have a person to love them as their own. But, they were not "my own" and I kept this in mind. I was just a stop along the way on their journey to a forever home. And the inevitable day came where the pup left to go to its potential new home. I balled every time. But then, the bittersweet news would come that another pup was in need of a foster mama. And I was there. The fulfillment of being able to help the helpless is an indescribable feeling. You are changing lives!

 Muttley Crue is a foster-based rescue.  That means that we don't have a shelter for our dogs to live in while they wait for forever homes.  Upon intake, each dog is matched with an available foster family who can best meet their individual needs.  
We ALWAYS need fosters! Aside from the reward of helping dogs in need, the next best thing about fostering is that it doesn't cost you anything! Muttley Crue covers all expenses.  The only thing you provide is a loving home where you can treat your foster dog like your own until he or she is adopted.

OTHER WAYS TO HELP:
